This is hard. Not question it´s hard. But it is fun as god.damn.hell It really takes the last bit out of me. Just one flaw: at some points the game gets great lag causing it to skip a bit and then overlap other notes, therefore making some medals and boss defeats that would be possible on pure skill impossible.

Perfect

This is simply outstanding and prortais agony at it´s best. Not only do we have a creul antagonist but we also learn to hate the protagonist himself. The world seems extremly violent and unfriendly with almost certain death around every cornern. Out protagonist himself often acts violently and maybe even unneccecarily cruel. I wouldn´t change the ending in the way the scene is animated but merely add a small scene in which you can see the protagonist closeley in order to rise attention. The content of the ending itself of course would need to remain the same in order to uphold the message.
One might read different meanings out of this: Either that acting without heart will only lead to your demise or the exact opposite, that you can only proceed in life if you don´t have a heart which will although still not change your undramatic ending which is the same as the one of everyone else: Death.
One thing however can not be discussed: This Flash is outstanding!

Intense

Noone can deny the gameplay is absouloutly intense but it is a little overkill. with the laser shot and the bounce shot I would make damage if i aimed and would make damage if I dind´t and quite frankly: As long as you have somewhat ok reflexes you can dogde almost everything not even regarding how it was almost impossible to get enough hits to die. Still very entertaining game

Great for keeping your senses sharp

Most flash games are very basic in what they require: Quick reflexes.
This game however manages to test various skills. Whilst reflexes are also needed one will notice that thinking ahead in terms of ammution and carefully entering rooms ect. will greatly increase your chances of survival. I loved the dark atmosphere of the game and how the tension increased with the levels as well as the leveling system. For the critisism: There were very few kinds of enemys making the game increasingly predictable. I feel that you put too much effort into the weapons because honestly: All you really needed was your standard AR, the pistol and the pulse rifle. I didn´t even think about buying a shotgun when I knew I was going to face hordes and therefore needed a quick firing speed. Same only worse goes for the Rocketlauncher. Also the little alien spawn was downright annoying and I mean in the sense of "not that shit again" not in the sense of "oh crap! x.x". Having to stand there using up good rifle ammo or struggling with the pistol just halted the gameflow. Lastly the plot seemed very much like the plot of the flash game "the breach" only less disgusting. Still I enjoyed your game very much.

Great game

The ending made me feel quite superior >:D
I enjoyed moretheless fighting this machine as well as the riddles.
Also it feels like my frustration with puzzle games is reflected by this, as trail and error is a big part.

---SPOILER ALERT---

First Room: examine bed and get the key
Second Room: Substract it´s age from the Year given and type it´s date of birth.
Third Room: Type random numbers while it insults you, after several tries you it will tell you that what you just typed was right. (The actual numbers don´t matter)
Fourth Room: just type something until it is fed up and gives you the task to guess a number between 1 and 100,000. It will also tell you if you are too high or too low. Easiest way is (high or low are just examples as it will take a RANDOM number) first guess: 50.000 if too high then go to 25.000 to low go to 75.000.
25.000 too low -> 30.000 to high 29.000 too low -> ect.
in the next room it will cut of your hands. Examine the blood and the type random things until it asks you to name one more unneccecary feeling that you have. type "ANGER". This is basically when you defeat it. After that just type leave and you´ll be free

Boing but hooks you up

While being in fact extremly boring ect ect. it has something I can´t name that kept me playing. Oh and to all those who posted "Walktrhoughs" :
It doesn´t really matter at all what you choose to do.
For example: resistance and damage are in fact the same. As every round you hit and get hit with few expections it doesn´t acually matter if you hit 1 point harder or take 1 point damage less. I could win with a damage/health system
you could also win with a resistance/health or resistance/damage and so on. The only thing I would say does NOT make a good stat is precision. I only invested those points I for some reason could not invest in other stats. Because as long as you have at least some points in precicion you will always hit so overpowering it is useless.
I would really reccomend to take the health bar out. Whilst seeing how many HP you and your enemy have in numbers the health bar completly takes the last bit of fun out of it. Think about it: If I have only the numbers and health as well as damage are only shown in numbers I don´t know from the beginning if I am going to make it. If although I have a health bar as an indicator I can read who will win simply by looking at it after 5 turns. If his is lower than mine I will win because I can procentially subract his life faster than he can and vice versa

Not my cup of tea

I am usually not the one to give low scores but this game almost asks for it.
I really do not mean to insult you but for my taste the difficulty level is insane: The danger of the hazards compared to the punishment (one false move --> losing a life worth 20 hard to get coins and bringing you near complete game end by a giant leap). The music was... ok, not really bad but nothing groundbreaking. I have seen this "Pixel style" this kind of unfinished looking and minimalistic graphics before but it was in a game that made this on purpose trying to give you the feeling of being behind the scences of games with graphic greatness. In this case although it seemed just like laziness. I can´t really give you less than 4/2 as I know that there is still going quite some programming and testing - a lot in fact- in these kind of games.

Heh, we never lost fear of the monster under our beds, we just got better in imagining it´s not there but in that one night when you just KNOW it´s there you are afraid as if you were a little child again

don´t even play it

I personally suggest any user of newgrounds to not even play any belugering games anymore since it only feeds them money from the ads for a game they obviously don´t even care for anymore. If you were a newbie we would understand this but we have seen so much better from you that is it just unacceptable from you.
